Socialization Adventure Walk
For Current & Past Students
Adventure Walk is a group walk for those dog owners who would love to enjoy the dog-friendly world together more!
Adventure walks are a bit different than a typical walk to give your dog physical exercise. These walks are more about helping your puppy or dog focus on proactive exposure — creating neutral and positive associations with different people, places, and things.
The adventure walk is a relaxed exploration of different environments, seeing other people and animals from a distance, and an opportunity to start building very simple (but very important) training foundations.
We will be working on holding our dogs to the highest social standards as we traverse around the Huntington-Long Beach Area together and enjoy all this area has to offer for its dog-owning community!
This meet-up will be held at various spots. Be sure to check the location when signing up.

CGC Prep & Test
Canine Good Citizen
Canine Good Citizen is a title your dog can earn. It can help lay the foundation for your dog to become a well-respected and welcoming community member.
For more information about the AKC’s Canine Good Citizen, click here.
Classes will be held on Monday at 1:00 pm.
Each course is $30. Completing this class series doesn’t guarantee your dog will pass the test, but you can retest if you desire. For a $30 fee, you can take the CGC Test without any practice sessions.
We cover how to prep for CGC; the test is administered on the last day of class.
After every class, you will receive step-by-step video instructions and handouts. Weekly practice is essential for success.

Comfortable with People & Dogs
